A Victoria bed and breakfast room that oozes with character. Entered through a private entrance off its own deck garden, Camelot has a private ensuite bathroom, diamond leaded windows and a hardwood floor.
Rates, double occupancy, including a full breakfast: Tapestries provide the inspiration for the Arts and Crafts character and deep colours of this Victoria bed and breakroom room. Above the fireplace is a famous 1895 tapestry by Sir Edward Burne-Jones, "The Arming and Departure of the Knights", now in the collection of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber. "The Lady" near the window features Guinevere, before she was queen, being courted by King Arthur entering in the background accompanied by her maid Luned. Another Burne-Jones wallhanging, "Laus Veneris" (1869), enriches the stunning bathroom. It offers affordable luxury for a BC B&B retreat.
A single bed (not a "rollaway cot") can be added for a third person for $35 nightly, including breakfast - a two night minimum applies for this (an armchair is removed). The two night minimum stay also applies if twin beds are required instead of the usual king bed setting. View further photographs of Camelot
