Cedar walls with a Pre-Raphaelite mural, beech floor and a vaulted ceiling with skylights set the scene. Black, gold and green highlight the decor. The cottage has a king sized canopy bed with pillow-top mattress, fireplace and two-person jacuzzi whirlpool bathtub with marble surround.

We designed its interior with the secluded garden setting in mind yet containing elements of the elegance of the manor house. This is typified by the large Pre-Raphaelite wallhanging by John Melhuish Strudwick, "When Apples were Golden" (1906) is perfect in a cottage set among apple, cherry and plum trees.
